@Truffles_13 If you specifically want to buy from Argos, these three are all equivalent options, other than their storage:

The graphics chips in all three of these are about equal, and significantly faster than the chip in the laptop you linked earlier. The second one has the most storage, but it's also a mechanical drive, so Windows would run more slowly, and most apps would load more slowly as well. While a solid state drive isn't strictly necessary for anything, it's a quality of life upgrade that might be worth it, especially since the third one, with a 512 GB SSD, is only £50 more.
I did also see a proper gaming laptop for £580, although I know it's a bit more than you want to spend. For comparison's sake though, this one would run Sims 4 and all packs together on ultra graphics settings, although only barely. But it would be a massive step up in performance from the integrated chips in the other laptops.
If you want to see options from other stores, let me know, and I can take a look.

@Truffles_13 Okay, here are a few more options to consider.
This laptop is equivalent to the first one from Argos I listed, but it's £20 cheaper:
These two are equivalent to the third one from Agos, and also both £550:

All of these are in the same class and would give you pretty close to exactly the same performance in-game. The question then becomes whether you'd want to spend more for a large fast hard drive(512 GB solid state drive) rather than a smaller fast one (256 GB SSD) or a large slow one (2 TB mechanical drive).
This isn't really a proper gaming laptop, but it does have an entry-level dedicated graphics card, one that would handle the game better than the previous models. It's also £550 and has a combination 128 GB SSD/1 TB HDD, so you'd have the benefits of a solid state drive for Windows but also plenty of storage.

These two, both £600, are real gaming laptops, with a real gaming graphics card, one capable of running Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings, albeit barely. Aside from hard drive space, the major difference is that Asus has a better reputation for its gaming laptops than Medion does. Unless you really want the extra storage, the Asus would probably be a better option. The other core components are the same or equivalent.

Just to clarify, these last two are in the same class as the Medion I linked earlier, although they're a bit newer. But they should all have more or less equal performance in-game as well.
- 6 years ago@puzzlezaddict Thanks for the detailed reply. Please could you put them in order of which ones you would get. Top one being the one you’d buy and going down so the bottom one is the least you’d be likely to buy.
That would really be helpful If you don’t mind please :-)
