Ultra Speed - 3 won't stay on while sim sleeps

My sim lives alone, Cottage Life xp, and the ultra speed won't stay on while sleeping. Can't find anyone on the lot, no foxes, etc... no ghosts. Not sure how to stop this but it will not stay on while sleeping no matter what I try - I switch it over and then it clicks off ALLLLLL NIGHT.

What gives?
