@ZolilyBean Did you also test a different save/household and it happens for all of them ?
Well, I hadn't but I just did, and it works just fine to plan an event in another save. Does that mean my new main save is also trashed? Is there no way to fix it so I don't lose all of my progress? So strange this would happen, especially since I was playing with no mods the entire time. Just EA doing EA things, I guess.

She is a Maxis made teen, does her age have something to do with the restrictions? I'm usually able to throw house parties with my other teens, but typically they are living at home with their parents. This is the first time I have ever played with a teen that lived alone so I'd hope it wasn't something so simple lol.
- @ZolilyBean Could you move the Sim into a household with more Sims for testing purposes (on a backup of your save) and see if they can throw an event then ?
