Unable to use objects in the bathroom - false 'object in the way' block

My sims are unable to use bath tub, sink or toilet as they get alerts for objects in the way (e.g. sink is in the way, bath is in the way) when they are not. I place them as I’ve always placed them before - sink next to bath for example. Ot toilet across sink (at least two squares away) and they still cannot use them and get the alert.
Hello! Sorry for the late reply, I was unable to play for a while. So I tried removing different objects and it turned out a lamp was obstructing the way - so it ia resolved now.
