Unable to use objects in the bathroom - false 'object in the way' block

Macbook pro 2019

Laptop mode

No mods or CC

My sims are unable to use bath tub, sink or toilet as they get alerts for objects in the way (e.g. sink is in the way, bath is in the way) when they are not. I place them as I’ve always placed them before - sink next to bath for example. Ot toilet across sink (at least two squares away) and they still cannot use them and get the alert.

    is this for every house ?

    Can you post a picture of the bathroom ?

    When you say you get a object in the way error, you mean they wave and you get a routing failure ?
