University degree

So I’m my sim is going to university of Britechester soon, and she has distinguished degrees in language and literature, fine arts and communications.

I want her to be a lawyer, so it’ll make the most sense for he major to be Language and literature. For the first term I’ll get her to do 3 classes for this.
When the first term has ended, for her to get the distinguished degree in language and literature do I need to do all the rest of the terms studying language and literature again or could I have her do another major and get more degrees at graduation?

In order to get a distinguished degree in language and literature, she needs to attend Britechester and have been accepted in the distinguished degree. Looks like you applied for her to be in Language and Lit at Britechester so she is on track. But it is still not guaranteed. She will need to make sure her skills are very high in the prerequisite skills for that degree. If you want her to get the distinguished degree, rather than just simply a degree in language and lit, you should just have her focus on that degree and not have her do any others. She should be taking 4 courses a term in order to finish on time with honors.
