- @greenean71 In addition to the excellent answers you have already been given, you have two other options:
1) Wait for some dorm roommates to bring food (they always do).
2) Go to a university kiosk and buy a mini-fridge and microwave that you can place in your sim's inventory and then set them up in his room.
