I’ve been playing sims 4 (xbox one) for a while. And on occasion i have a save where i used cheats including the money cheat and the unlock all objects. But now it seems when i create a new character and a new save.. all the objects still seemed to be unlocked and i dont earn any achievements like I am using cheats. But I’m not. If that makes sense? Help!
@deadlydahlia711 I am not familiar with a 'unlock all objects' cheat, but I have used 'bb.showhiddenobjects'. In that case I first add the command 'testingcheats on' (or 'testingcheats true'), then 'bb.showhiddenobjects' The 'bb.showhiddenobjects' seems to automatically deactivate, in my experience, once you exit the game, but I do always type in 'testingcheats off' or 'testingcheats false' before exiting, then save and exit the game.
Did you try deactivating testing cheats and make sure it confirms that testing cheats are deactivated? If it is confirming (in the message back when you tell it to deactivate testing cheats) that testing cheats are off, then you save and exit the game, I would think that your hidden objects should not show in build mode at that point, and if they do I would try a game repair. [ Open Origin, click 'Game Library' then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game ]
....But if you have mods or cc, that could be causing a glitch, as many mods and cc were broken by a recent patch (the one right before Get Famous was released. The first thing to try would be to remove all of those and see if it fixes the issue, then if it doesn't, try the game repair.
