Updated Mod Analyzer/Conflict Detector?

Hello Everyone or anyone,

I'm thinking of doing a clean with my mods, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of an updated Mod analyzer/conflict detector to aid this clean to make this a smoother process?  I've been website hopping around to look for any sort of mod conflict detector and I've been hitting dead ends.  Those I've found are outdated, an eyebrow raiser, or abort mission.  ModTheSims has one but its outtdated back to 2018, and those in the comments even stated to use at your own risk. I wouldn't even reading the warning, as that red bar at the top to state the user hasnt been on in a while has me exiting out the page without further review.

Any sort of direction or advice what would fantastic.

Thanks everyone!

Happy Simmin'

  • @3Rosez I don't think there's anything newer. It was always a bit of a double sided sword as it really just detects conflicts between mods and not between mods and the game.

I think the best method for a clean up is to move your mods folder to the deskop and then start re-adding what you really need. Get the newest versions for everything. Find a good system to prevent duplicates.

There's no need to use a tool like this if you find a good system and know what you download. (aka don't download whole mods folders and things like this). Use subfolders and make notes where you downloaded things.

I think MCCC exceptions now tell you when you have duplicates and BetterExceptions might have similar functionality but you only get info from those if you have an actual error.

EDIT: Have you tried the  Sims Mod Assistant from MTS ? Seems to help with duplicates/conflicts and isn't as old. Comments seem to suggest it still works.
