Uploads-downloads-gallery

Has anyone noticed that since they have changed their layout in "upload" and the gallery, everything is listed from "most popular" and one has to toggle to "newest" to see what we used to see? This being said, my recent build has been up for 2-3days and no one has downloaded it and I suspect that no one is seeing it because the gallery, by default, is showing "Most Popular" rather than "Newest". Today when I looked at the gallery again and toggled to "newest" I saw that no one had any downloads. I scrolled for several minutes and never found one with a download. Is it because of the new layout or is something broken? Does anyone know what is going on?
