@CGrant56Thank you for the suggestion! It sounds like your problem is much more complicated than mine! It does kinda suck having to go to such extremes to weed out a little bug.... I surely hope the library save solves it for you, and it is worth trying for my situation...… as long as the programming doesn't follow your sim home!!
The only time I saw the option to destroy the urn was when I was playing around with the "set as head" cheat. That was slightly amusing.
Yes I tried deleting it in the inventory, both selling it and the good ol' delete button. No luck, message said, "This item cannot be deleted."
I am personally prepared to lose relationship info with this sim anyway, I was about to clone her and delete the orig, but I am realizing that my family issue is with my fave sim I am trying to turn into her son, (and I'm not deleting him) he won't allow the mother/son option in the drop down menu even with testingcheats on (even though there's no mother stated on his family tree)...…….. so now I was working on relationship.add_bit but nothing past their # ID's yet...……….
Are your urns affecting your gameplay?? I guess they follow your Sim around?? Although in my case the wife's gravestone stayed on the OG lot while she lived elsewhere. I built a graveyard with mausoleums...……. can u stash them away like that?? I guess it's less weird for a vampire to have a tomb than your live sims though. Good luck with the demolition!

@here4thesimz No, none of my urns did what yours did. I can put the urns in a sims inventory, any sim's inventory, and take them out. One of them is not on the lot of the sim to whom it belongs in the first place. The other two are though. I just can't delete them.
As far as gameplay, they have had no effect that I have seen other than no sims can die in my game in any way that uses the usually death animation because it just stops halfway though at the point where Grimm is suppose to swing his scythe, the body disappear and the urn appears. Every time a sim dies, I end up having to exit to the Main Menu. During the death animation, like in some other places, you can't save until the animation completes. The only way a sim can die and I get an urn is by drowning in the swimming places in Sulani and Brichester. That death type uses a different animation since it happens out in the water.
On the debug cheat, "Set as Head" though, I find that interesting that the destroy option is there but not really surprising. When you use that cheat, what gets put on your head is just an oversized copy of the object you use it on, not the original. I tried that when I tried to get rid of a guitar that got dropped in the world back when we had the problem with all those musical instruments being added to sim's inventories when they were used as NPCs by the game as buskers or they spontaneously started playing somewhere in the world and you exited that world. Got a bunch of those that I can't find a way to get rid of. That bug has been fixed now but the guitars and violins that got dropped while it was happening are still hanging around if they were dropped in the world as opposed to on a lot.
On the relationship thing you mention, I've had that happen and in all but one case have been able to fix it using the relationship options in MCCC when I couldn't do it in CAS. If you use that mod, that may work where the CAS cheat didn't I haven't tried it the way you mentioned. My case where I couldn't fix it was with a same sex family and one of the kids doesn't show 2 mothers as parents as it ought to. It will only show one no matter what I tried. Maybe you can fix your issue using that mod if you use mods.

I just downloaded the MC mods, wish I had have done it sooner! Yes that fixed my Oediipus thing. LOL....
Weird about the instruments.... maybe that has something to do with why I get copies of the Grim guitar and that bunny electric placed around my house, but I can delete those and reset them.
IDK about that dying glitch though! I hope it's not the mod centre that is making stuff buggy...……… o_O
@here4thesimz The MCCC mod is one of the best mods that I have ever seen and it does a lot. Once Deaderpool updates it for the latest patch or pack, it very rarely causes any problems and it has a lot of features that really let me tailor the game to the way I want to play. And he usually has it updated the same day that a patch or pack comes out too. I wish all mod creators did that.
I suggest you go slow exploring what it can do and get to know it. Probably best to do so in a test game too since some things take a bit of trial and error to get them the way you want. Especially where you change things like the number of sims in a zone or adjust how fast relationships decay and things like that.
On my problem, I've already tested and figured out that neither MCCC or any of the other mods that I use have anything to do with it.
One thing I really like about MCCC is the notifications it gives for LEs and about things going on in the background if you turn story progression on. It's sort of like seeing birth announcements, wedding announcements and obits in the newspaper in a way. But you don't have to use them if you don't want. The LE notification though is the one you can't turn off and a lot of times, those pop up, the game keeps running fine. All it really does is just let you know the game just created an LE. The game has always done that in the background and lots of time a player will never know it did as there was no in game notification and most don't really mess up gameplay to any great extent. I only see them once in a while and don't pay much attention most of the time. It's when you are getting a lot of them in a short timeframe is when I pay attention as that is a clear sign you've probably got something big and bad going on. Bad cc or a mod that needs to be updated are usually the cause then.
On the bug with guitars and such. Funny story. When I went back though my households to clean them out after the bug was fixed, one sim had 30 of the expensive violins in her inventory. Instant rags to riches for that household. LOL. Added something like 450K to the household funds.
