I have been playing vampires in The Sims 4 for quite awhile and I noticed that after I purchased Seasons my vampire sims were not affected by weather conditions (i.e heatwave or freezing temperatures). They do have tense moodlets if there is a storm out but will not change into their cold weather outfits when walking out into a blizzard, or get uncomfortable when out in the cold for extended periods of time. Human sims work fine.

this could very well be by design as they are vampires.

I would think it was by design. Vampire is more likely Dead Sims walking around
Vampires are definitely not affected after the patch 1.44.83.1020, but they sure were before, one my vampire even froze to death! And I'm pretty sure vampires dying because of cold or heat was a real bug and now it's fixed.
