Vladislaus speaks English?!?

My Sim just had a Vampiric Spar with Vladislaus and after he won the fight, while they shook hands, it sounded like he was speaking American English. Something along the lines of "are you okay?" or "that was good" or something like that. My partner, who wasn't watching the game mentioned he heard it as well.

Am I crazy??? Has anyone else seen this, was this added with Sims 4 Vampires? Maybe I just missed a Livestream where they mentioned adding some English dialogue but that's so uncharacteristic for Sims.

The sims speak simlish not an actual language you may have interpreted it a bit as that dialog would fit the situation.

  • Well I've listened to Simlish for 10+ years and I definitely heard something different.

@TheDefiantYouth, while it is possible to have a few simple words that are English or another language make their way into the game, (or at least something that sounds a lot like real words) it was probably just some word or phrase that could be heard of as real and fit the context of what had just happened with your Sims.  Sort of like if you have ever misheard a real life person say something.  (An example is when someone says "He took it for granted" but a lot of people think they are saying "He took it for granite". 😃 )  I think I've heard my Sims say "OK" before, and there might be a couple more like that, but as @jpkarlsen said, the Sims don't actually speak any real language; instead they speak the made-up language of Simlish! 😉  So it is more likely a coincidence.  The same sort of thing happens with different real languages too! 🤭😉
