Walls on build mode divided and compressed
When I'm building, the default walls become divided at 1/3 of the height, as if there was 1/3 of a wall and then another 2/3 on top of it, vertically. There's a line clearly dividing the wall at that...

I've done that and the issue remains, nothing's changed :/ I'm out of ideas for what it could be

It's not just the height, your wall sections are 2x squares wide too instead of one. Could you move the whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop, or rename it, and then load the game and see if it still happens with a brand new family, in a brand new save, on a brand new lot? Don't move any of the contents of your old Sims 4 folder into the newly created one.
