Was Eco Lifestyle Worth it?

    @Fluffy4880 Some days yes and other days no. There are times when I'm tempted to remove it and days when I find it handy like dumpster diving in a rags to riches challenge.

    The NAP system has made for some okay drama and then just very bizarre drama that made some loads unenjoyable. I've disabled naps but npc's don't seem to get the message.
    I like the buy/ build/ cas items enough to keep it around
    It's my least favorite world but I do use it as a place to dumpster dive and it's also where most of my "bad" sims practice mischief and mean interactions as those npc characters rarely show up more than once which makes the criminal career advance a little quicker

    All in all for me it's a love hate relationship

I initially bought the pack because I had a save of two sisters (one YA, one teen) living off the grid in Sulani.  The elder sister was a conservationist and the younger a high school student.  It was just TOO HARD without Eco Lifestyle! They were perpetually tense (from washing off the grid or low fun), uncomfortable ("sore from chores"), or dazed (from cooking with gas off the grid).  Also they were mermaids and the conservationist career kept assigning the elder sister the task "snorkel," which mermaids can't do, and then not paying her.  ☹️ 

This save was SAVED by Eco Lifestyle and Tiny Living.  I shrank their house, gave them a couple of windmills so they could run a laptop and cook, etc.  Tiny Living helped the conservationist level logic and handiness, and helped their garden grow so they could BUY FOOD. 😉  So yes, for me it was well worth it!

That's pretty much what I do. I use the power and water generation items, disable NAPs and the green/industrial thing and stay the heck out of the new ECO world and it runs mostly fine.

Plus, the power generation items are pretty crucial for fixing the broken Snowy Escapes world.
