What happened to Alarm Clocks?

I do miss my sims having to them woken up by alarm. What happened to them? They should be in decorations not electronics because they have no function.&nbsp;Were they meant to work I think but got left behind like the memory system.

The SIMs wake up when no longer sleepy or when they have to go to work work/school. No need for an alarm clock.

That's still a stupid reason to not include them as more than just decoration
