When i play the Sims 4, time suddenly stayes still, when i put zime speed 3 it changes shortly, then when i go normal it goes back to the freezed time...
I tryed to go neighborhood view but now its enlessly loading...
I have NO MODS INSTALLED!! NO MODS!! CLEAN GAME!!!
I'm having the exact same issue. Only I can't save and I can't switch control from sim to sim either.
The time jumps when fast forwarding. If the Time is 10:16, fast forwarding it to double will change the time to 10:58, then fast forwarding it to the fastest time it will show 12:33. The sky changes but whatever the sims are currently doing doesn't move forward. when the game is paused it reverts back to10:16. The only CC I have is clothing, hair and shoes. I did attempt to search to see if anyone else had anything similar and anything that I have read was in December or 6 years ago. First time reporting anything for the sims, so no idea if I'm doing it right. apologies if I'm in the wrong area.
I attempted to fix it by repairing the game through EA app and now I can't click on different sims unless the game is paused. I can't click on objects or floor unless the game is paused. The sims also wont do anything when regular speed, medium speed and fast speed I've restarted, repaired.
Currently having an issue where the game clock freezes, and I'm unable to select family members, even though my cursor and camera still is able to move.
Whenever i decide to fast-forward the speed the time "jumps" between 2-4 hours ahead, with the environment turning brighter and reverting back after slowing the speed.
This happens on both DirectX 9 and 11 without any mods or DLC packs. Tried repairing the game to no avail as well as resetting user files.

Turns out I do! Yeah the issue occurred when trying to put my baby to sleep.
The same thing is happening with my game, i ran it without mods to see if it would go back to normal but the same issue kept occuring did any of you guys find a solution to this or will i have to give up the game ☹️
Has anyone found a fix? I can’t even play for 20 minutes max. Ive only had this issue for a month now.
