What is going on, or is it me?

Since the patch before Home Chef Hustle, I noticed more bugs in the game, now I have  the pack installed, the game is almost unplayable.  My Sims have gone back to admiring their decor, andnot doing anything else,like going to work etc,  something that was fixed a long while ago, when exiting the game I get,"Oh you are back online", was never offline, and I have to shut the computer down to get out of the EA app.  Last time it said "empty the cache and restart"  I did and nothing changed.  Not had these problems before.

    @michlyntyres well I can't help with the second part of your problem as I'm on console but I might be able to help with the admiring decor problem. It will stop if you go into CAS and remove any Likes. If you didn't add furniture/decor Likes in the first place, they have been randomly added to some of my Sims recently for some reason. If you remove them, Sims will stop the annoying habit of becoming so distracted by their belongings that they get nothing else done.
