Family tree issues !! What's going on?

???? What's going on ... Caroline has a boyfriend.. not married, but has a child with him (who has a child with someone else) 

 and instead the family tree says it's her brother's child of both children... I went to both the brothers' and Caroline's household, and it fixes itself, but when going back to my main household, it does it again
