I love that pronouns have been added to the English version of the game, but it's been more than a year now that this update came out and I feel like we haven't had any news for it coming to other languages. I understand that it is not easy for every languages, but could we have news for it, especially when it was said to be coming for other languages ?

Some of the languages we support require us to create entirely new words and phrases to account for pronouns usage correctly, this is something we absolutely have to get right and the downside of that is that it requires enormous time and effort to accomplish and implement.
That said, we don't have anything to announce just yet in regards to availability.
I mean, its been a year since they posted this in brazilian portuguese: Pronomes Personalizáveis Disponíveis no The Sims™ 4 (ea.com).
The eternal waiting is killing me, once we don't even have mods for pronouns.
As a nonbinary person, i really really hate my sims being called "wrong" every single time just 'cause we still don't have this option.
I'm not a fluent english speaker, i'm using the translator right now.

I had to save a copy of Morgyn Ember before the patch 1.100.147.1030 which gave him a pronoun because with the new version, I get this lovely bug now in a new game too for Morgyn.
You guys made it so people can use custom and type them themselves ! A least give us that option too ! I don’t care if I have to type « iel » and « ellui », I juste want queer francophones to be able to represent themselves and who they truly are !
It’s been years… I am a student in linguistic, I KNOW it’s tough to translate, and it’s a subject that’s still in debate, but since anglophones are able to literally type themselves their pronouns, that option should also be given to the rest of the player base.
We really feel left out, like we do not matter. No one ever talks about it anymore. I guess americans have the update so that’s enough. 🤷♀️
It’s not like The Sims never aknowledge the non-english-speaking part of the player base, right ? 🙄
I think it'd be a great thing to add the option to initially change just between male and female pronouns in other languages, at least we would have the mechanic and the ability to change some pronouns.
It's almost been another year... please at least give us the option to change between male and female. I was really hyped about this feature as an enby but so much time has passed with no updates to this situation and I just feel forgotten alongside with all other non english speaking players around the world.
Hello! I've never posted here before, but as the title of this post implies, I've been wondering more and more often when the pronouns update that was created during 2022 for the English language would be available in other languages? It's been two years now, and I'm honestly beginning to wonder if EA is still working on it or not...
Obviously I know that there's a billion other things they're working on, but still, getting any sort of feedback on this topic would be nice.

Edit: oh ok, didn't realized there was already another place talking about the topic... Which can of make it worse actually, because like @Lalo_Reley said, EA could simply give us the option to customize the pronouns ourselves and it would be great! What's the hold up?
What would help is an update on development. How are we even supposed to expect this to happen when we don't know if its still being worked on and wasn't silently canceled?
