When i have more than 8 sims they dissapear in CAS

So I have MCCC and i set maximum sims to about 15 I think and whenever I enter then exit CAS only 8 of them remain. The other sims dissapear completely. Even from the family tree. I tried downloading...

Are you using MCCC to edit the household in CAS?  If you don't, any over 8 will be removed.
