I am not able to play my household, I can edit the sims but the game won't load to allow houseplay and keeps returning me to the neighborhood select screen. I have repaired my game mutliple times, removed mods, added them back, and deleted a lot and it still is doing the same thing since updating the game. Does anyone know how to fix this issues?
so I was clicking the play button you normal press to play as the household, however every time I press it, it shows the loading screen and then brings me back to the worlds screen and I click on the world and the household and try it again, but it doesn't work. I have tried using the repair, fixing everything I thought could help, but nothing is working, I would love to play the game so please and thank you if you can fix this.
Hey, I have a problem, because when I have to choose where I want to live at the beginning, when I click on it, it takes me back to the beginning and I don't know what I did.
Hi, my game isnt properly loading when i activate mods.
I tried to repair the game, deleted mods, etc. but everytime i tick the activating button for the mods it doesnt load. With not loading i mean, i want to play a household but instead of opening this said household i always end up back in the world overview after short loading.
When i deactivate the mods button it works but otherwise it doesnt. Even when i dont even have any mods in my Mod folder. I tried it. Its not a Mod fault.
I hope you can fix it, its really annoying.

After downloading the latest update, i turned on the game and tried to load my last played household. But when i selected it on the map and clicked play, the game started loading and then, instead of letting me play, sent me right back to the world map without starting the game. I then tried to create an antirely new household to play with and the game didnt load it either, after selecting a lot for my sims to live on and clicking play, the game started loading and then gave me an error message suggesting i should reload my game and deleted my household. Same thing has happened even after reloading the game multiple times. Please fix this! The game is unplayable!

I have been experiencing this issue for several months so it would be nice to be able to play modded again. Also, this won't fix the issue it will work until they figure out why the mods are the problem. I might be helpful if you give a list of your mods, and their versions. That way they can see if the version they are in is the problem. Side notes this temporary fix, with remove sims traits except for one, and their relationships with sims, I don't know why but for example this Sims's traits except loyal which I didn't pick were removed. Same with relationships. I did find that my child sim still has one relationship and that's with the stuffed animal from the event.

The August patch broke many, many script mods, with this being the symptom, and these are still the ones most likely to be your problem. Use the Previously Broken mods and CC for many (not all!) mods that have no updates. Use “Updated” in the Broken/Updated Mods list for patch 1.117, but note many are not yet updated or cleared in the current list.

If without mods you still can't load a specific household you played in, but you can load other household, that can be a result of removing certain mods (e.g., recipe mods, playmat CC). See Mod/CC Issues master post

Its with all households. But when i remove all mods, relationships, skills and, traits are gone.
CapyChaosMaster It's normal that when you removed mods, anything custom from those mods is gone. It's why we recommend not saving while you narrow down what's broken and what has an available update.
