why do other sims keep making fun of my played sims body hair?

Every time my sim meets another sim, the other sim autonomously makes fun of my sim's body hair or jokes about body hair, then my sim gets offended, and their meter goes down, even if they are good friends. These interactions are so annoying and make me hate the body hair update with burning fury. I like how we can give our sims body hair, but are the in-game interactions really necessary? I wish there was a way to disable the interactions because it gets infuriating when the whole sims conversation is about BODY HAIR. Even my played sims (with autonomy on) will constantly joke about the other sim's body/facial hair, and they get offended. It's not realistic whatsoever, because who really talks about body hair THAT much? C'mon now.
