why is mods always the issue when playing sims 4?

Why is mods/cc always the issue when we want to play The Sims 4?!

Those poor people that sits everyday making mods to add to all the packs that there is, is starting to waste their time because with every new update they either have to change or delete their mods to use in the game. I am very grateful for all the mods that I download over and over again when I lose it (not on purpose) and the new ones.

I would like to play the game with the mods or sometimes without. Can that be fixed please?

The ones that uses all these different mods with all the sims games would like to use it without having to take it away. Only the ones that is outdated can be not used.

Thanks/ Peace out✌️

Have a nice day/afternoon/evening,night

  • It's in the nature of mods that they need to be updated. If EA changes something about the code a mod uses, these changes are not in the game if you override them with a mod so they need to be updated.

There's now way around this. If EA updates the game and changes something a mod changes, then the mod needs to be updated.

Everyone making mods is most probably aware of the fact and know that they need to be updated.

Not every mod needs to be updated with every patch, so that's why lists exist that help you with that.

Modders choose to create Mods and with that comes a certain responsibility to maintain and keep them updated. At least, the good Modders do.

As a player you choose to add unsupported 3rd party content into your game. If that content breaks your game you should take responsibility for making sure your Mods are up to date or removed if incompatible.
