will aging auto on in setting wil it affect all different save file

I have question, I have two save games file. One save file i have alot of family's that i made . I don't have auto ageing on, only on active household. I am worry if i turn on auto ageing on that it Wil affected my other save file of sims family that my partner made and he doesn't want sims just randomly doing anything in house or ageing. but i would like my own save file that i have made with alot family, i would like to put active household on but will that affect his sims family on the other save file too ???? does anyone have a idea
