Will Somebody Kindly Explain to Me . . .

. . . how two average mixed-breed horses breed a Clydesdale?   Please see the picture below. I was totally shocked. the parents are in the forefront. Speckles, the sire, bottom left, Moonshine the mare on the right. Bab's Glory, in the background. Take a good hard look at her hooves! That's the mark of a Clydesdale.

  • Well, if they’re both mixed breed then I guess both must have had a little bit of Clydesdale in them and Bab’s Glory got lucky. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you for responding. I wish I could feel lucky about. it instead, I'm upset. I guess if I had wanted a Clydesdale, I would have selected one, when I first gave my Sim a pair of horses.  I've actually seen Clydesdales in person. (We visited Busche Gardens years ago.) They are magnificent and very big beasts to be sure. I tend to like a sleeker line in a horse. Weird, I know. I shied away from Thoroughbreds, even so. Not that my Rock Star sim couldn't afford a pair. He's one rich dude, after all. I guess he just didn't wish to be pretentious. Oh, well. I'll have to see just how Bab's Glory manages once she begins her training. She was supposed to be his racehorse. So, maybe that's the heart of my disappointment.

I don't see why she can't be a racehorse, unless she's got the mellow trait. I will wish you luck with her training, and a good first race!
