World Selection Endless Loop

Admittedly, I haven't played the game in a while. The first chance I got, I jump right back in after adjusting my mods. I wanted to make a new family and I did, I even put them in a new house, but when I tried to play them, I kept getting sent back to the world selection screen. I relooked over my mods, updated the script files, deleted the local cache every time. Same thing. I eventually took out the folder entirely and was even sure to disable mod capability in the main menu. Same thing for HOURS. I'm just disappointed, I waited months to unwind in Sims only for the game to literally be unplayable
