Update: they can talk while hiking together!! Sorry edit: It looks like they CAN do stuff WHILE they are hiking, so maybe they can also talk?? Plumbella seems to really like the hiking feature (happy to hear it) so I'm guessing they don't just walk next to each other like zombies. *
