@charlotteprice I really do recommend playing challenges as the very best way to make sure that the game holds your interest on a constant basis. I've always played all my Sims games (1,2,3,4) using challenges. As a matter of fact, I don't even understand how Sims games and any other open-ended type of games wouldn't get boring after a while of the same non-changing ongoing play. That's why I started creating challenges (to help other Simmers by keeping it fresh). For Sims 4 specifically, I plan on creating much more as time goes on.

If You Don't - How Can You Complain Of Boredom?

When I said it doesn't hold my interest (I guess that's complaining of boredom)its because its not the way I play! I never play a sim or household for long. I play a single sim, get married, have family..then start a new sim......sim stays single, advances to top of career...start new sim in new neighborhood, etc. I am all the time changing sims and starting new neighborhoods........all the time........I have played it this way for years.

I never had the desire to play challenges with prior Sim Series, but I did look at the threads in Sims4. I like reading them but I am not good with them. I might give it a try when I go back into the game, and see if that peaks my interest.
