You can get them into a fight with someone, have them fight two or three times and they will die. That’s how my criminal sim witnessed someone die, he fought with an elder townie. This way is pretty fast.
You can also have them stay too long in the sauna if you have spa day, or if you have my first pet stuff, have the get a rodent but never clean their cages, but play with the pet and they get a disease and die after awhile.
