? What Happens To The Animals When Sim Goes On Vacation

Corollary: How do animals work in rotational play? Will they survive while I play different households for several weeks?

When I travel with one sim from a multi-person household and come back, the ones that stayed home might be a little hungry or tired but, they're ok otherwise. I'm guessing the same can be said about the pets.
Though, I swear the little buggers are throwing parties while I'm not there! ?

I usually play single sims, so I'm wondering if it's like day care, lol. Until I find out, my lil sim isn't going anywhere.

they do, their needs are sorta paused if you are not playing the household.
Dont know about ageing tho cause I turned that off.

@RabenSpit Thank you! I know cowplants die, so I was worried about stabled animals.
(Aging isn't a problem, I play a very slow progression with aging off and will turn off shed animal aging, too.)
