- JanuaryGarnet08New SpectatorIt seems like it’s potentially way more than just 100 when you factor in a slider to make each swatch lighter and darker. Undertones has been the core issue all along too, the warm, neutral, and cool tones are what actually give each color depth and determine how make up looks too. I also hope this leads to an eventual update of hair color (side eye to the cheddar swatch) too.

My biggest question now, since I don't use CC so my games won't fold like a house of cards when this comes out is will they change premades accordingly automatically? Tho I realize that might be impossible unless you start a new game, of course since any premade you ever loaded into CAS is now "your" Sim, it is saved with "your edits" even if you mark him or her as unplayed.
What I am getting at is should I start over again anyway when this comes out or not?
You could probably use thecas.fulleditmode
cheat (I think that's the right cheat) to adjust skin color on existing Sims (premades and game-generated townies) if necessary; future premades should be created with the new skin tones by the Sims team, but not sure if the game-generated townies will have the same advantage. I don't know if starting over would help at all because they'd still have their original coloring. :/"Sharonia;c-17670425" wrote:
This is nice and all but are they actually ever going to address the bugs that Eco Lifestyle has unleashed on our games?
For those of us who don't use custom, this is a good update. And I'm sure they're working on squashing all sorts of bugs, EL and non-EL. It takes a while to find/replicate the problems then figure out the code changes needed.- HermitgirlNew SpectatorOhh.. I can't wait to see what the makeup sliders are about also. Most of the makeup looks too dark to me lipsticks especially to be able to tone it down or ramp it up sounds great.
Glad for the warning too about the graphics needed ... looks like not everyone might be able to run this though. - Finally, there's hope for Marcus Flex after all these years. I could never understand why I didn't like him until the skin tone was pointed out to me. He could be done so, so much better.

May be good incentive for me to get a new gaming laptop after the first of the year. B)- IsharellNew SpectatorI'm so glad this is happening. I really appreciate that they are letting us know what is coming and have given us a schedule, too.
- marea_a_moonNew SpectatorYeah, i am glad that they are giving us updates about this as well, although it is making the wait even more unbearable now that i know what is in store haha.

I know it takes time but they're supposed to be professionals at this and in the mean time they have managed to release two new packs. It's highly frustrating at this point. Gardening is broken since Eco Lifestyle released. I'm not that into gardening personally but some people are and it's not fair that people have to wait this long for a fix. The N.A.P's are a huge part of the expansion but they're unplayable and highly disruptive the game without mods to fix them. I'm sorry but this service is just not good enough. I'm happy for those that wanted the skin tones, I really am but more needs to be done and far sooner than Decemeber. - JanuaryGarnet08New Spectator

Also to be fair there are some bugs they can’t squash because they’re caused by low specs and people not updating GPUs whether folks want to admit it or not. They can only squash what they can replicate on their end.
