I first got into the Sims as an adult. I loved how I could live vicariously through them. I loved doing silly things like putting them in a room then taking away the door, I always put it back before they died. I got upset when they got electrocuted and watching them having whoohoo in the heart shaped bed was always funny.
I had all the first one, pets, vacation, making magic...my favourite was Superstar and Magic. I had a couple of TS2's games but hated the game play. The I got the one console game and didn't like it. Tried the online freeplay for a while but that got terrible because of immature trolls.
I got away from it for a while, and now I rediscovered it through a friend on FB. Glad I did. I love this new game. I have rediscovered my love of building houses. Though I wish we had game packs for builders with lots and lots of build items. I loved some of the wall papers and floors, like the tiki hut and tropical ones.
