@ChampandGirlie I've noticed that too on occasion in Willow Creek. I just smash the door down and put a different one in, or even just delete and completely rebuild the bathroom as a new room from scratch.
Pro-tip: Keep in mind which way the door swings open. I had that problem where the door swung into a bedroom, but when open, it was only one square (tile) you could get into because the bed was in front, the open door to the left, and the wall to the right. It was simple to fix that, just switch which way the door opens in build mode. So have it swing open into the hallway instead of the bedroom. Another way I suppose would be to have a different door that swings open towards the wall.
I actually pay quite a bit of attention now to placing doors when building or modifying a place.
