Also, I hate how they just give us everything. I just started one of my sims on the flower arranging and even though she has no flowers, she can still make arrangements. Same with food. It is way more fun to have to go out in the world and buy food and flowers or grow the flowers yourself instead of it all just being there magically.
It's been years since I played Sims 2 or 3 but... in the older games, didn't we have to order a bag of groceries to stock the fridge? I feel like that was a thing, but I might be remembering it wrong.
As for well, everyone just orders things online now... that is true and I don't mind ordering things from the computer but there should be a brief wait time, and then a delivery guy should come to the house with a package for your Sim to sign. The idea that it just shows up in your pocket is pretty silly.
