A busy next 6 months for future DLC

As we have always had $120 of DLC per year (1st April -31st March) and this year we have only had $40 (Seasons) how do you think they will do the remaining $80 over the next 6 months. Or do you think EA may allow them to reduce their output. (doesn't seem likely).

Gurus said there are several packs being developed in parallel
Certainly I favor their motrion. As it is the best way to make packs copatible between them (read as packs than enhance/help other pack)

Building tools from past games are not possible in 4 because of the game engine. The world environment is a flat surface and is not written to allow changes in elevation so terrain tools, swimmable oceans, multi level foundations, snow depth and split level stairs are just not going to happen unless they change the engine entirely.

They must've made some changes to the game engine, or found a way to work with it, since terrain tools are coming . There'll be a livestream on Twitch next thurs 10/11 to go into more detail about how they work & such.

That would explain why they’ve been pretty quiet the last couple months if the engine itself was being worked on. It will be interesting to see how they managed to do it once the custom content community gets its hands on the patch.
