A Daily Task ingame - help

I am playing in Strangerville and todays daily task ingame is " Plan 10 moves Ahead" I have looked everywhere to see what to do and am drawing a blank. I thought it might have been something to do with Chess - but no luck trying different things - like Ponder Moves etc, as nothing happened.. I cannot find any clues on this task in Lessons either. Anyone have an idea what I need to do?

My sim is on the 10th level of the Men in Black Branch of the Military - if that helps.
Totally appreciate any ideas - first time a Daily task has baffled me.

    It means exactly what you thought, playing chess. I've read on Carl's site you need to play it for awhile (about 2 hrs) to fulfill the task and ponder moves doesn't count (though it will give you the focused moodlet to up the skill faster). I don't know about this personally since I haven't tried that branch, just from what I've read.

    Okay - thank you. It explains why ponder moves didn't work - lol. So just play chess then. Thanks again. I will try that.
