Is there a cheat to disable the ailments system, or at least to remove an ailment from my Sim?
I don't know about disabling it, but you can introduce yourself to a fairy and ask them to cure your ailment and if they have the power to do that they will. I think my Sim asked the redhead summerdream (?) townie fairy girl and she cured him. Oberon (her husband?) didn't have that power yet so he wasn't able to help. But it seemed like they're willing to do it if they can. Friendship wasn't high or anything at the time. One of my Sims I let him keep his ailment because he coughing up money and it was helpful. LOL! It only lasted 3 days then went away on its own.
