In the will, the Money and Dependent inheritances will take place if the last teen or older sim in the household dies.
Good news, it'll take effect if the last sim becomes a playable ghost. Money will be deducted, but children and pets wait in the same household until the will is read.
So, no need to make them a freeroaming ghost to cause a game over there! Awesome!
