I do not have Parenthood, probably why I didn't know. I do not care for children/family packs.

I just learned this through some research. Did you know, a royal cannot marry his sweetheart unless she forges a link with another dynasty, since she is a commoner? If they defy the odds and just get married, it can cause a scandal. 🤪🤪🤪
Mind you, the son in question isn't the Heir.

Yes, my young Sim, who is also a celebrity ran into one at the Grand Ball his father threw.

GalacticGal This Grand Ball would be so cool! However, did paparazzi invade the Grand Ball if there are royals who are also celebrities? I haven’t played yet but curious about this. 😆

Yes, as a matter of fact. Let me find the picture for you.
My teen Global Superstar in dark blue and the royalty for the Thebes family. She's a B-Lister.

Changes to the dynasty can create very bad feelings amongst members. Cassandra Goth, who had to usurp Mortimer for head of the dynasty (making them enemies for a short time), forged an alliance with the Monty’s. She knighted Dante and then married him, so that she wasn’t marrying a commoner. After I changed the name of the dynasty to Goth-Monty, both Mortimer and Alexander decided they despised Cassandra 😳
