*Correction: Some NPCs won't lose their jobs. Tried it with the pizza guy. Asked his career, he still says he delivers pizza, but it doesn't appear above his head. Now I'm thinking it was a glitch because the mail lady behaves oddly.
At least I have the mail carrier. She even delivered my mail the next day. :D
