You really don't need that fancy of a computer just for sims, however this computer will last you a LONG time so that's good. I have the equivalent of a 1060 for my graphics card and I can run everything on max settings with 60 frames per second, and I only paid around $700-800 for my computer.
I've seen you already purchased though, you probably could have gotten a better deal, but it's not a bad computer at all. It will more than suit your needs.
For the sims 4, it will be like cutting toast with a steak knife :)
(If it is in your budget range though, more power to you. You won't need to upgrade for a good long while for most games)
