I bet the majority of the fan base don’t care about Dom and Cam’s “story.” The Sims used to be about letting the players tell their stories, not the team forcing their more often than not very poorly written stories on to us...
Honestly this. I would simply delete them just like with any other pre-made. Is the team going to start vetting players to check they play their way? The original TS4 slogan was "You rule." It's been years since that stopped being true. The latest packs (kits) have been targeted to a certain audience. Now we finally get a pack with
little new gameplay after months of CAS/Buy mode kits. Suddenly they write a "love letter" to exclude paying customers, including the target audience of the latest promos, kits and MSW's trailer/cover. How loving and caring.
I have been disenchanted with the direction of the game. Selling representation (TM) over gameplay, instead of selling gameplay that happens to have representation. However, I liked the idea of a wedding pack. I voted for it back in the survey. I was thinking of getting it on sale but now I won't until it's released to all simmers.
The devs should understand they create a game for a wide audience. Good luck expecting the whole world to align to their values. It's all about letting simmers play their own way (generational play, fantasy, simselves, pre-mades, etc.)
