A mod to stop sims riding their bikes indoors?

This is why I stopped my sims from having bikes. And people want cars? We will have the same issues being in a closed world. Not for me. No thanks.

I do remove their bikes/sell them from their inventories but they appear to be spawning back into inventories after that even when i am not buying them so I am not sure what's going on.

Sims 2 never had this issue, it's probably different developer that developed cars in sims 2 than what we have for bike in Sims 4, sims 2 developer might have found a way to prevent sims riding their car in the house.

From what I remember, cars in S2 required a driveway you placed down. Maybe they need to patch in dedicated bike stands/racks to avoid this issue.

Yes, whether you buy them or not, they autonomously spawn them and show up with them on public lots.

I do not give my Sims bikes and when they find one I sell it right way. It is weird to have an adult Sim ride the bike to the restroom, get stuck, wet his pants and then die of embarrassment. It happened in my game and I dislike bikes in The Sims 4. They do not work correctly and kids can't have them. Even if you tell your Sim to walk here they still get the bike out and then put it back before they actually walk to where I wanted them to go. Bikes are banned from my Sims in my game. I delete them when they spawn or are forgotten by an NPC. The way I set up MCCC I can right click any object or Sim and select delete. The bikes just irritate me.

Not to be rude or anything, but that's like trying to stop one's RL children from doing the very same thing — or the skates! They sometimes attempt to skate in the house. Those children are now 40 & 42 with children of their own. Just as an aside, the curse works. "I hope you get a child just like you!" My daughter claims all of them are like her. LOL She's the mother of 7, soon to be 8 children. I love them all dearly, but I can't help but feel vindicated.

To get to the point of your post, I think the only way to keep that from happening is to not purchase the bikes — until they are at uni, that is. Then sell them again when you bring them home.

Is this your first Sims game? Didn't have the problem you anticipate with cars in a closed world. Sims2 was a closed world. They had cars. Not a single Sim ever drove their car through the house. I played that game every day from August 2005 until Sims3 was released.

Thanks @sunblond I thought i was going mad after knowing I removed all the bikes from sims inventories-)

@SimplyJen yes in S2 a car mat (for want of a better word) or garage is required to place the cars but I have never experienced problems with cars or bikes before in earlier iterations like this and now I know they auto spawn in S4 like i suspected my game is unplayable until that issue is solved if ever..

Thanks for that tip about deleting with MCC I really must learn to know more about that mod as I while I always have it installed I tend to forget how much it can so :)
