I use MOO all the time in my builds. I can't imagine NOT using MOO in my builds anymore, it's just so handy. especially for landscaping and clutter decorations. I don't upload very many of my builds, but the ones I have uploaded have been playtested AND bulldozed. What I mean by that is, it's great to playtest, it'll make sure everything sufficiently works for Sims to use. BUT, as someone pointed out to me on the BuildNShare thread, playtesting alone isn't enough. Especially if you have MOO'ed landscaping or placed things on exterior walls/chimneys, etc. where they normally could not be placed.
What builders who use MOO need to do when they are finished building and playtesting is save a copy to their library, then bulldoze the build. Replace the bulldozed build with your library copy and check that nothing MOO'ed has fallen. That's mostly for aesthetics, but it can be a pain for people downloading your builds if they don't want to fix it up themselves or can't figure out where something that fell is supposed to go. I suppose something falling could block Sims from using other objects too.
If I upload anymore builds that I've used MOO, I plan on using the hashtag #bulldozed in addition to #playtested just as a courtesy.
Happy Simming Y'all! <3
