I've been putting together a save and downloading beautiful houses from the gallery then jumping from lot to lot to play. I know it sounds ungrateful but it really is disappointing when you get there ...

Um... What? Builders build because they like it. You don't have to download. If you download, you can do so without furnishing. But then they aren't as purty? Bingo.
That clutter takes a lot of time. And talent to not have it look like the dog's lunch. And for some of us, it is the artistic expression that counts. I never go back and check feedback or votes.
