Heh, interesting. ^_^ Everybody else here seems to care too much for their sims... personally I see my sims as creatures who should worship me or else suffer! >:P
LOL yeah that is the mindset of a deviant Simmer. I'm that way too. Honestly only family I've cared about in the series is the Goth family with their graveyard in the backyard.
While Bella Goth is pretty, I view the pre-made sims as absolutely nothing except servants. ^_^ I usually have one or two of my sims act as "leaders" while the others act as servants- often I use separate houses on the same lot, just so servants aren't able to enjoy whatever my leader sims have. ^_^ Sometimes I host a "death-game" however... I have rules for mine though. It's basically seeing how few generations you need to do this one:
First you make eight young adult sims and put them in your death-game. Simple right? Well, once you have two alive, you have to make them fall for each other. It doesn't matter if they're a same-sex couple or a straight one, since you can always adopt. After they've fallen in love you may move them to a new house and let them have two children- these siblings will be 2 out of the next 8 contestants. Once the kids are young adults, you must move the two into the death-house, with six new young adults. Again, you'll have your sims fight to the death. If the two siblings survive, you win. If not, you repeat the cycle again and again through each generation, until two siblings finally survive. ^_^
