A question on doctor career clothing

I had a sim in the doctor career. My understanding is that you're supposed to get a new work outfit at level 7 which is general practitioner, and I think the clothing is a nice coat thing that looks like a lab coat.

However, when my sim was promoted to general practitioner she kept wearing the clothes she had before which included these weird lab glasses which I personally hate.

Does anyone know why her work clothing didn't change when it should have, and what I can do about it?

I've since started a new save and am going to start playing her again from scratch but I'd like to know in advance should the issue occur again.

    Hello! If you'd like to manually modify your Sim's work clothing into something you like better, you can open the cheat console, type testingcheats on, and then type sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas

    This will immediately take you to modify your sim's current work outfit.

    As for why it happens, I have no clue, honestly. I have bugs sometimes too (my sim quit the floral design career and got a new job as a politician but still goes to work and comes home wearing the floral design outfit). :(

    Thank you so much for that info :) I was wondering if there was a cheat. :)
