A Sims 'Lockdown' Challenge?

I know there is a lockdown challenge but its above my head. Being newer to the game. It would be interesting to do for sure like master each of the skills to 10 during lockdown and can only work from home. This would be a fun challenge to do and make!

Socialites would definitely struggle in the game though could do activities in the backyard or talk on the phone, or go online.

Here is the challenge: Room Challenge

I hadn't played Sims 4 for several months, but when the lockdown began I thought of playing sims in lockdown as well. It's what got me back in the game, but I'm afraid I didn't stick with the lockdown idea for very long. I did initially look at the room challenge, but the mansion baron is an aspiration I had already done a number of times before. There are many old ways to make money without leaving the home, but I wanted to do something new and I had a number of packs I hadn't explored yet (DU, IL, Strangerville). I tried to do the engineering career while my sim was in lockdown. I guess I had an idea that he would build a household of robots that would do errands for him so he wouldn't have to go outside. But eventually he had to attend or give lectures at the university, and I didn't realize that robots were very high maintenance, so that whole idea just went out the window. The robot got shipped off to is now attending university, and my sim now has a significant other and has moved to Strangerville for his next challenge.

I might try something like this. It would be interesting to do it with 2 sims, a lover who loves being indoors, and one who wants to be outdoors and socialise a lot. I'd probably give them a small garden though.

Interesting idea, but for me, no. Right now playing my Sims is the only outlet. I haven't been out of my house since early MARCH. Mind you, our lockdown is strictly voluntary, (I live in a reasonable state governed by a reasonable governor). But we can't go to church and my son who works at a grocery store insists I don't go shopping. (Yeah, I suffered but survived a catastrophic health event and he's a worry-wort.) Hubby is doing the shopping, on the whole. I missed my one chance to get out and about, but hindsight is 50/50 so they tell me. We are now into phase Orange in our opening back up. We can gather in groups of 20. Whoopee! My daughter has nine children, plus her husband so that's more than half already. :open_mouth: Still, I have been invited to my eldest son's house for Mother's Day. YES. I so look forward to that, you just can't know.

I don't think I'll take up this challenge, OP. I'm already going batty. And I'm a LONER.
