Mine usually put the food on the coffee table. They just pull it out from nowhere, it’s ok.
I love it. I put leftovers in my sim’s mini fridge. If you pack a sack lunch, when it spoils you don’t have the stink fumes coming from the fridge. You can buy one at the little kiosk where they sell books, bikes, decorative items, etc.
