The idea of creating a teen vampire sounds really tempting, especially if they don’t age up unless you do that manually. But I find one problem with it: going to school.If I want to play with a teen vampire, who never becomes adult, will s/he have to go to school forever? That sounds really boring, especially since I’d like to have my vampires up at night rather than during the day, which doesn't really work if you have to go to school in the morning. Do you know any way around this that doesn’t affect the kid negatively? Without mods would be nice, because I’m not used to mods.

If you want your teen vamp to stay a teen you could disable aging for the active household, or buy youth potions every time they start approaching young adult. I play with really long lifespans though so I have plenty of time to build up aspiration points to buy the potions. For people using MC Command Center, you can also flag the teen to not age if you still want the rest of the household to age. I'd be interested in a working drop out of school mod, but I haven't found one that's been updated.

Suppose you can have parent make a sun resistance potion at the bar and have it on cooling in fridge for them, but that would also require work plus remembering giving it to them before they'red out the door i guess.

Well, I see a teen vampire aging, so the answer is:
Teen vampires age until they are young adults. Then they stop aging.

@StarlingGray @DKguruArtist and @kati77 thanks for your help! I do plan to keep her as a teen for a long while, so I've disabled ageing for the time being, and she has the genius trait so I want her to go to school and do well. She currently lives in Forgotten Hollow and hates it because she thinks it's too gloomy and would rather be normal and live among mortals. When she ages up, she'll then move to San Myshuno.

Anyway, I didn't know there was a sun resistant cream! How did I even miss that? :P Thanks guys!

I've come across a UI bug when it comes to teen vampires and school -- it looks like their energy is draining as if they're outdoors, but it really isn't happening. So when that happens to my teen vampires, I just ignore it -- they don't die, and when they come home, their energy is where it should be.

My teen is not becoming a vampire, I have gone back to Vlad and " ask to turn" 4 times, No transformation, no " uncomfortable" moodlet. and every time I click on Vlad " ask to turn" is still there. I also cannot find any place to access the vampire power points.

I have the " Vampire Secrets" option on the computer, but so far no transformation. I have looked online, and cannot fiund any information for which of the icons on the lower left will display the Vampire Power points screen.
